In 1964, Frank Monschein started a countertop shop in Modesto, California. It was small, but Frank had dreams of growing an important business based on new levels of product quality, customer satisfaction and dependable service.
In 1966, the business added a commercial cabinet division to satisfy the growing needs of a rapidly expanding marketplace. The reception in the building community was strong, and in 1967, this led to the addition of cabinetry manufacturing for production homes and custom residences. In 1978, the cabinet division was moved into a new state of the art facility in nearby Riverbank.
Today, the facility has grown to over 150,000 square feet, owned and managed by Karen Monschein. Monschein Cabinets has become a leading custom cabinet and countertop manufacturer in the Western U.S. We continue to grow by catering to the needs of our clients and delivering superior products at cost-conscious prices.
